IAD Investments has bought almost 80 hectares of land from Valaliky Industrial Park for the construction of an industrial park for suppliers of the Volvo car company near Košice, Eastern Slovakia.

The project near Košice aims to enable the fund's investors to participate in possible revenues from this project. IAD Investments will also cooperate with the developer Sibareal, a.s. on the development and construction of the project.

The plots were sold as part of a public tender in which IAD Investments best met criteria such as the purchase price, the requirements for ESG standards of the industrial park and its contribution to local communities.

With this step, IAD Investments, through the projects in its funds, becomes one of the important players in the logistics and industrial parks market in Central Europe. The company currently owns, operates or develops through real estate companies in real estate funds managed by it approximately 720,000 sqm of net leasable area in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Croatia.

Valaliky Industrial Park, s.r.o., a company operating under the founding authority of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, is the implementer of the investment project "Strategic Territory of Valaliky", which is aimed at fulfilling the obligations arising from the investment contract with the first investor in the industrial park, the automobile company Volvo Cars Corporation.
