Duna House Group published its monthly Transaction Number Estimate, according to which 8,000 residential properties changed hands nationwide in November 2022. This value represents the weakest month this year, a 4 percent drop compared to the previous month and a 27 percent drop compared to November last year.

Based on DH's estimate, more than 118,000 sales and purchases have taken place on the domestic market so far on an annual basis, which represents a 21 percent decrease in volume overall.

Calculating with the forecast of the traditionally weakest month of December, it can be stated that the Hungarian real estate market will end the weakest year of the last 8 years with approximately 125-127 thousand real estate market transactions, despite the fact that in the first half of the year we were almost at last year's level.
