The number of transactions this year is likely to catch up with last year's results, brokerage firm Duna House reports.

The number of residential transactions in September was nearly the same as the previous month. Due to the lower basis in Q4 2022 and growing market activity this summer, the last quarter is likely to appear much stronger, Duna House emphasized in its monthly report.

There were 8,067 transactions in the ninth month of the year and a HUF 50 billion mortgage loan was taken out. Credipass, Duna House's lending arm expects a good performance in the last quarter which, according to the company, will result in a higher amount of new loans than a year ago.
