Goodman Group has signed two lease agreements for a total of 7,800 sqm at the Pomeranian Logistics Centre (PLC), located adjacent to the Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT) in Gdańsk. With these new agreements, all available space (51,500 sqm) at PLC is now fully leased. In response to market demand, Goodman is also constructing 15,836 sqm of class-A warehousing at PLC, which will be delivered in the third quarter of 2016.
The new lease agreements at PLC are with NRF Poland, a producer of coolers and air conditioning components for the automotive market, and logistics operator ATC Cargo. NRF is an existing customer at PLC, which is expanding its relationship with Goodman by taking an additional 3,485 sqm of space, bringing its total lease to over 6,500 sqm. ATC Cargo, a new customer at the logistics centre, is leasing 4,320 sqm of warehousing space to help expand its services.
To keep pace with market demand Goodman will expand the Pomeranian Logistics Centre with an additional 15,836 sqm of new space, which can be divided into smaller units. Goodman also offers the opportunity to tailor the space to the operational needs of the customer.
The Pomeranian Logistics Centre in Gdańsk is one of Goodman’s premier development projects in Poland and is owned by the Goodman European Partnership, Goodman’s flagship real estate investment vehicle in Europe. Goodman has the opportunity to develop up to 500,000 sqm of flexible logistics warehousing and production facilities with integrated office space. On completion, the total value of the project is estimated to exceed €300 million.
