Globalworth has secured the LEED certification for Globalworth Tower Center International, located in the CBD area of Bucharest. Cushman & Wakefield Echinox has assisted the office developer in the certification process.


The building was opened in 2012 and has a leasable area of 22,500 sqm.

The certification strategy to include a blend of the existing characteristics which already ensured high sustainability score so that the asset corresponds to the latest certification standard demands, explained Mihnea Cristescu, Project Manager and sustainability specialist within the Project Management  department at Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.

LEED-certified buildings are critical to addressing climate change and meeting ESG goals, enhancing resilience, and supporting more equitable communities.
