Building H3, part of West Gate Business District, in Bucharest, got the highest certification level of the IMMUNE Building Standard. The offices, owned by Genesis Property, are fully occupied by telecom company Ericsson.

The developer invested €375,000 to upgrade the 15,500 sqm building. As a result, 119 out of the 135 measures included in the IMMUNE Assessment Scoring Index were successfully implemented.

“When employees come back to their workplace, we want to welcome them to a physical environment where they feel safe, comfortable and will have fewer sick leaves caused by viral diseases such as Covid-19 or the seasonal flu. We believe that it is our responsibility as developers to bring to the market a building with a real healthy performance that enables a healthy experience,” says Liviu Tudor, Genesis Property Founder.

The office building got new air disinfection and filtration systems, as well as antimicrobial paint and self-cleaning technologies for highly used areas.

Independent body Build Green evaluates and recommends a property to become IMMUNE  - certified with one of the three labels: Strong (3 stars), Powerful (4 stars) or Resilient (5 stars).

Genesis Property has a portfolio of over 150,000 sqm of office spaces in Bucharest. It also developed a private student campus and a 4-star accommodation unit.
