Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH enters the Slovak market with an acquisition of land with a zoning permit comprising 70,000 sqm. This follows the company’s successful start of activities on the Czech market. Garbe’s plans in Piešťany include the new development of two buildings with a total size of 26,000 sqm.

The new Garbe Green Park Piešťany will be developed in line with the highest European sustainable standards. Both buildings will feature photovoltaic panels and air source heat pumps which ensures a minimal carbon footprint during operations. Circular water use and its own water source encourages efficient water management and water recycling. The operating costs in the park are minimal.

“The protection of our environment and the highest quality of our properties is very important. We want to cooperate with companies which are sharing these same values. As a German family business, we follow the highest European sustainable standards. Those are adjusted to the local needs of logistics and production companies and provides them with ideal industrial spaces,” said Martin Polak, Managing Director at Garbe for CEE.

Martin Stratov, responsible for Garbe’s business activities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia added: “I am happy that our expansion continues and that we have entered the Slovak market. The new land has a zoning permit and we have already applied for the building permit. We expect receiving it in following months and we are confident that our customers will appreciate the possibility to start development immediately.  We are also confident that the location, which we carefully selected, will offer multiple business benefits.

Garbe Green Park Piešťany is located 300 metres from the highway exit to Piešťany, 80 kilometres from Bratislava and 110 kilometres from Žilina. This ensures easy access to other markets in CEE and beyond. A public transport bus stop is located right next to the park.
