Etele Plaza has obtained its occupancy permit which means tenants can start building their new stores in the largest shopping centre in the Buda side of Budapest. Developed by Futureal, with an investment value of €300 million and a leasable area of 55,000 square meters, the environmentally friendly building will open its doors in September 2021.

The anchor tenants introduced by the developer are already preparing for the September opening. Spanish fashion retailer Inditex Group will be waiting for visitors in the complex with all its brands available in Hungary, led by Zara which is bringing its latest store design concept to Budapest. Peek & Cloppenburg's first store in Buda will feature the company’s latest layout design, which also makes it easier for customers to find their way around and choose clothes.

Designed by Paulinyi & Partners and Dyer Group (interior), the complex features 180 fashion stores, a grocery store, restaurants, cafes, a multiplex cinema, a fitness room, a children’s playhouse and other services. Nearly 1,300 parking spaces are available for customers in the parking lot which has its own positioning and navigation system aimed at helping customers wanting to park their cars by indicating empty spaces.

Etele Plaza has achieved a BREEAM Very Good certificate in the design phase.
