Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube Hotel has opened in the Hungarian capital. The new 105-room hotel is situated on the banks of the river in the centre of the city and is managed by the Hungarian company Accent Hotels.
Accent Hotels has signed a franchise contract with Marriott International to attract more local and international guests. This is the first Four Points by Sheraton branded hotel in Budapest. This brand already exists in the regional city of Kecskemét, home of the Mercedes factory.
The new hotel is part of a larger property development called DunaPearl featuring luxury apartments and smaller retail outlets. Apart from the 105 rooms, there is a rooftop bar serving hotel guests and visitors.
The mixed-use development is managed by Turkish firm PD Real Estate Development Kft., a subsidiary of Polat Group, owned by Turkish businessman Adnan Polat known for other large-scale mixed-use projects in Budapest.
