Zdeněk Tůma the former governor of the Czech National Bank (2000-2010), portfolio manager Martin Pětivoký and Martin Hubinger , the owner of residential developer Realism, have founded IRQ Funds and are launching a new fund named IRQ Residential Rental for qualified investors focused on rental housing.


IRQ funds will focus on real estate assets in Prague and Brno. IRQ Residential Rental has an investment horizon of five years or more and a return target of over 8% per year. Its founders are currently negotiating with larger investors, from whom they have a preliminary promise of investment in the volume of a few hundreds of millions of crowns, which would allow the fund to carry out two to three transactions within the next few months. In the next three to four years, the fund plans to implement five to ten projects.
