YIT has launched the sale of apartments in the tenth stage called Tampere in the Suomi Hloubětín complex in Prague. The high-rise building on Waltariho Street will become the dominant feature of the new Finnish Quarter. The Tampere building is designed to complete the renovated central square of Alvar Aalto.

The Tampere residential building offers 68 apartments from 35 to 104 sqm with a terrace, balcony or loggia. The units have windows with insulated triple glazing and preparation for external blinds and will be equipped with a so-called indoor monitor. Available amenities include cellar cubicles, a baby carriage storage and a bicycle shed with bicycle and dog washing facilities.

The construction of this stage has already started. The developer will use modern prefabrication technology. Building use approval is planned for the turn of 2025 and 2026, so residents will be able to move in in the second quarter of 2026.

"We will primarily use materials and products with environmental impact certification EPD (Environmental Product Declaration). We are planning green roofs where the rainwater is captured, and where it is partially evaporated and partially drains into the internal sewage system. From there, it first flows into an accumulation tank, from which it will be used for irrigation in Tampere. If the storage tank overflows, it drains into the retention infiltration weir, where it is gradually absorbed. With this solution, almost 100% of the fallen water is used in the location," explains Dana Bartoňová, Business Director of YIT Stavo.
