EPG Group is opening a new part of the Varyáda shopping centre in the Karlovy Vary region on November 29 and 30. This extension is the first phase of the Varyáda renovation, due to be completed before Christmas 2025.

The newly opened part of the centre will welcome customers with fast food brands such as McDonald's, KFC and Bageterie Boulevard. A significant change is moving the O2 store to larger premises and opening Geco, ScanQuilt and Yves Rocher stores near the recently modernised Albert hypermarket. Datart, Eta and Klenoty Aurum will also open their doors here. A new part with a gastro zone and branded stores is an important part of the ongoing modernisation, which will expand the offer to more than 100 domestic and international brand stores by Christmas 2025.

"This is a major milestone in the centre's history," says Martin Malý, Director of marketing and communications at EPG Group, and continues: "However, the modernisation does not end there - as part of the next phase, a multi-cinema Premiere Cinemas will also be built. We are also thinking about sustainability: part of the modernisation is the installation of photovoltaic panels and charging stations for electric cars."
