Romanian company Eden Capital Development has started the development of the second phase of the Cortina North residential project in Bucharest that will include close to 1,000 apartments, with the first deliveries expected in the second half of 2023.

In the first phase of the project, the developer has already sold 80% of the 560 apartments for more than €45 million.

“We are optimistic about the evolution of sales in the coming period as well, although the purchasing power is slightly decreasing, considering that there will be a prioritization of investments made by Romanians and given the real need for modern housing solutions, the purchase of housing will remain at the top of the list,” said Elena Dumitrache, Sales Director of Eden Capital Development.

In the past seven years, the company has completed over 1,600 homes in Bucharest, mainly in the northern area, and has another 1,700 apartments under development.
