German company Diehl Controls, a high-tech manufacturer, has leased 18,000 sqm in CTPark Brașov for a research and development centre as well as a production facility. This is the first tenant attracted by CTP in the new project spanning 50,000 sqm that will be completed in the second half of 2024.
Diehl Controls will initially invest €15 million in Brașov and will create 200 jobs. Over the next decade, the total investments will grow by €40 million, and the number of employees will reach 600 by the end of 2027.
“We found Romania to be a very competitive country in Central and Eastern Europe with quality labor force, good engineering potential, a country providing both stability and security. Working alongside InvestRomania made our decision process more straightforward. Brașov is strategically located in central Romania, offers very goodinfrastructure and is a preferred industrial destination for skilled workers. These were all important criteria for us whileselecting the location for our new investment. We aim to make a long-term contribution to the further economic development of the city of Brașov and the rest of the region through this project,” said Josef Fellner, CFO of Diehl Controls.
Diehl Controls currently operates two manufacturing plants in Europe: one at the company’s HQ near the German-Swiss border with around 550 employees, and another near Wroclaw in the southwest of Poland, where it employs approximately 1,300 people.

CTP’s industrial portfolio in Romania covers 2.3 million sqm across 15 cities.
