DIY retailer Dedeman has agreed to buy a 27,000 sqm plot in Western Bucharest from Industria Iutei for approximately €6.7 million, zf.ro reports.
The plot is located on Str. Progresului, next to a well-developed area with several retail parks and supermarkets located nearby. The area is also home to two office buildings, one of them being AFI Tech Park, the first phase of which is due to be delivered next year.
Dedeman has the opportunity to build a smaller than usual DIY store on the plot but the development of an office or residential project is also possible.
