The highest hotel in Prague, Corinthia has joined the Czech Inn Hotels chain, reports Newstream.cz. The plan is to gradually modernize the hotel and revitalize the rooms, but with great emphasis on preserving the unique character and historical value of the building.


Ninety meters high, 26 floors, 539 rooms, several restaurants, 25 congress halls and a 14-meter-long swimming pool on the top floor of the Corinthia Hotel in Prague's Nusle will be operated by the Czech Inn Hotels chain from the 1st April 2024.

As the founder and owner of the Czech Inn Hotels network, Jaroslav Svoboda explained, the plan is to gradually modernize the hotel and revitalize the rooms, but with great emphasis on preserving the unique character and historical value of the building. There will also be a change in its name.

The owner of the hotel remains Alfred Pisani, an entrepreneur of Maltese origin who operates hotels in 12 countries under the Corinthia brand. The history of the hotel began exactly 40 years ago. Construction started in 1984, and operation in 1988. When it opened, it was an iconic building of modern architecture and luxury.
