CPIPG has sold its half share in the historic house U Petržilků in Prague on Malostranské Square to the Spolumajitelé group, Seznamzpravy.cz reports.

The U Petržilků house, standing right on the Royal Road, has a Renaissance core. It acquired its current baroque form at the end of the 18th century. The building has been protected as a monument since the 1950s.
"I can confirm that we have sold our entire fifty per cent share in the building," CPIPG spokesman Jakub Velen told Seznam Zpravy.

"We evaluated the purchase of this property as an interesting opportunity because it hides a potential that has not yet been fully utilised. We are preparing the specific plan, so we will not comment on it yet. However, our goal is clearly for the building to become a self-confident and harmonious part of Malostranské Square," said Jan Diblík, Founder of the Spolumajitelé group.

The Spolumajitelé group was established to the leading law firm Havel & Partners. Neither party commented on the price of the transaction.
