Nordika, Corwin’s new residential tower in Ljubljana, has been unveiled to the public. The project, which will comprise around 290 new apartments, will be part of a large-scale revitalization of the area along Masaryk Street in the city centre.
Construction for the project is expected to start in early 2026. This will be Corwin's third revitalization project of degraded areas in the Slovenian capital. The construction of four residential towers in Šiška, called Kvartet, was completed in early 2024. More than 60 percent of the work on their second project has been completed – Vilharia will be the greenest office building in Slovenia.
"With this project, we will revitalize the degraded area where Veletekstil, one of the most famous retail chains in Slovenia, once operated. It is yet another one of our brownfield revitalisation projects, transforming a degraded area near the central station into a modern heart of the city. The location will be a perfect place for people who love city life; for those who want to have easy access to employment opportunities, cultural events and various services," says Erik Fusík, Deputy Director of Corwin in Slovenia and Head of Development.
Nordika will incorporate sustainable elements, such as green roofs, photovoltaic panels and a ventilated facade. The project will have a height of 82 meters and 24 floors.
