COOP Jednota has opened a new ecological non-stop supermarket in Prievidza in central Slovakia. The entire complex has been built as a wooden building.

In addition to the Tempo Supermarket with an area of 579 sqm, various services such as a florist, hairdresser, newsagent, bakery, pharmacy, gardening supplies and veterinary clinic have found their place here.

The building has a green roof, air recovery, rainwater collection and use, photovoltaic panels and reuse of heat from refrigeration equipment for heating and water heating. Construction waste from previous buildings was ecologically processed and reused. The area has been enriched with greenery, which improves air quality and cools the environment. There are charging points for electric cars and a parking lot with 53 spaces.

Outside the standard opening hours, entry to the supermarket will be possible thanks to the COOP Jednota Klub application after registration and using the generated QR code.
