Nova Imobiliare, the owner of Colosseum Mall in Bucharest, plans to add a residential component near the retail project. 


The company plans to invest in 650 apartments and will develop 3,500 sqm of commercial space, according to Zf.ro. Construction works will start in 2022 and the project delivery will be made in several phases in the course of 3 years. 

This year, Nova Imobiliare will deliver Colosseum mall expansion in the retail park. Its opening was planned for 2020, but the pandemic forced the developer the delay its official launch date. 

Colosseum Shopping Centre will add over 60 new stores, fashion retailers and restaurants as part of the expansion works. The developer is investing €30 million in the mall upgrade project. The apartments will be developed on a 60-hectare land strip which also hosts the existing shopping center.
