CBRE Romania will get involved in the leasing strategy of H Știrbei Palace, a new shopping gallery for luxury brands developed by Hagag Development Europe in central Bucharest.

In this mandate, the agency is focused on attracting premium and luxury retailers, responding to significant demand from this segment.

“We aim to transform Știrbei Palace into the city's luxury shopping destination and bring Calea Victoriei back among the world's major shopping streets. We believe this project will make a significant contribution to the development of the luxury retail market in Romania and will strengthen Bucharest's position as a top shopping destination," said Carmen Ravon, Head of Retail Occupiers CEE at CBRE Romania.

Last Autumn, Hagag Development Europe kicked off the construction works for the consolidation and repurposing of the building that will host H Știrbei Palace. The projects should be completed in 24 months.

Once completed, H Știrbei Palace will be the first high-end department store to function in a historical monument building in Bucharest.
