CBRE has appointed Verka Petkova-Shekerova as Country Head for the Bulgarian market within its Southeast Europe (SEE) office. She is replacing Sladjana Popović, who will continue to lead ESG & Sustainability services department for the region.
Petkova-Shekerova has nearly 20 years’ worth of experience and joined CBRE from Colliers International Bulgaria, where she was Partner and Business Director Development for 19 years.
"I am confident that with CBRE's vast resources and unwavering commitment to excellence, we will redefine the landscape of the Bulgarian real estate market and achieve remarkable success,” said the newly appointed Country Head.
Petkova-Shekerova holds a degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia and an MBA with a specialisation in General Management from the City University of Seattle. She is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
