Aviv Park Zrenjanin, a 25,000 sqm open-air shopping centre in the Vojvodina region of Serbia, has officially started operating under the management of BIG Shopping Centers. The new operator acquired the building earlier this year.

BIG Shopping Centers expects the rebranding process to be completed by the end of 2020 when Aviv Park Zrenjanin will officially continue operating under the name of BIG. The retail mix of the 100% occupied asset includes a supermarket, cinema complex, cafes and restaurants, fashion chains, and sport stores, with anchor stores like H&M, C&A, New Yorker, Deichmann, dm-drogerie markt, Dexy, Sport Vision, Tehnomanija, CineStar, DIS and many others.

“Although a period full of challenges is behind us due to the global pandemic, we still firmly believe in the market potential in Serbia and will continue with our company's further investments in the development of retail business and many other areas in real estate, of which the public will be duly informed. We are happy to announce that on Sunday, 28th of June, our latest acquisition, Capitol Park Rakovica project, will officially change its name to BIG Shopping Center Rakovica,” commented Robert Yahav, Executive Director of BIG Shopping Centers Serbia.
