New warehouses could be built in the Košice region. Besico Real Estate is planning to build new warehouses in the industrial park Kechnec. The new complex should have an area of almost 100 thousand square meters. The company has not disclosed the amount of the investment, writes Trend.sk.
According to the daily Trend.sk, another 400 workplaces could be added to the Kechnec industrial park. Besico Real Estate plans to build three halls, each with storage and production functions, on already purchased plots between the Marelli Kechnec Slovakia and Kuenz - SK plants. The newly built complex should have an area of almost 100 thousand square metres, and 278 parking spaces are planned.
"The individual halls will store goods according to their nature. The assortment will be specified in the next stages of the project. The facility will also house light manufacturing and assembly, which will be concentrated on the automotive, engineering and electrochemical industries," the company further said. Each production and warehouse hall will be able to be used for the stacking and dispatch of products, as well as for any assembly work. The company plans to start the proposed activities as soon as the necessary permits are obtained.
