Serbia's Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued a permit for the construction of the Kula Belgrade tower to Belgrade Waterfront, the developer of the Serbian capital’s largest real estate project, local media reports.
Belgrade Waterfront plans to invest a total of over €100 million in the construction of the 40-storey tower. With a total floor area of 47,500 sqm it is set to become the biggest building in Serbia. The project includes a five-star hotel, recreation and sports areas, as well as an observation hall with a panoramic 360-degree view.
The Belgrade Waterfront project includes the development of a mixed-use complex on 177 ha of land on the right bank of the Sava river into, including office and retail scheme, 5,700 residential units and 2,200 hotel rooms.
