Belgian property developer Atenor has started the construction of UP-site, its first residential project in Bucharest. The complex comprises 270 apartments in two residential high-rise buildings of 12 and 25 floors with a common ground-floor. The project is located in Floreasca, one of the city’s exclusive areas.

”UP-site will add up to Atenor’s already finished or under construction landmark developments: Hermes Business Campus, Dacia One and @Expo,” says Sorin Dumitrașcu, Country Director Atenor Romania.

Real estate firm Knight Frank Romania oversees the sales & marketing process implementation. Close to 50% of the apartments have been signed off plan, including half of the penthouses, since the launch of the sales campaign last November. Up-site has received all the development permits last spring.

The residential project will feature facilities such as a fully functional spa, with a swimming pool and gym, green areas, underground parking and storage spaces.

The residential segment has continued to expand in the pandemic economy and developers are saying that Romanians are looking for bigger homes with extra room to set up an office with job and school functions.
