Atenor has completed BakerStreet Phase I, a new office project in Budapest’s South Buda area that will host the HQ of E.ON Hungária Group.
The building has a leasable area of 16,643 sqm and has eight floors, various terraces, and green spaces. Its interior design was managed by Artonic Design Architect Studio.
The developer said the building adapts to the changes of working trends, the ever more present hybrid – the combination of remote and office work - way of working at the same time. The usage of shared desks is greatly contributing to significantly reducing the environmental load of the office existence
Zsolt Zsedényi, Deputy CEO of E.ON Hungária Group, explained that the new HQ applies future-proof energy and architectural solutions, while adapting to flexible hybrid operations.
Thanks to the heat pump system, the office building can produce more than 30% renewable heating energy but features such as ground and rainwater recycling are also part of the technical specifications.
Norbert Schőmer, Country Director of Atenor in Hungary, pointed out that the aim of an office development is to create buildings and community spaces for many decades that fit organically into the city's bloodstream.
