Amundi Czech Republic has announced the sale of the office building The Square, directly above the Budějovická metro station in Prague. The new owner is Mint Investments.

The Square, located at the intersection of Prague's Budějovická and Olbrachtova streets, has been owned by Amundi Realitní fond KB since 2015. It offers modern premises with a total area of 19,000 sqm.

Sebastien Dejanovski from the Mint Investments management did not specify the exact deal price. For the Seznam Zpravy server he did reveal that it had exceeded CZK 1 billion (€40 million).

Mint has financed the acquisition with a combination of capital from its wealthy Czech investors and a loan from Komerční banka. The new owner plans to renovate the building.
