Accolade has received a loan from Česká spořitelna for the refinancing of projects in four industrial parks and new acquisitions, reports E15.cz.
The company confirmed that the refinancing will concern industrial parks in Týništ nad Orlicí in the Rychnovský region, in Stříbro in the Tachovský region, in Přeštice in the Plzeň region and in the Cheb South park. The loan amounts to €190 million, i.e. approximately CZK 4.7 billion.
All four industrial parks are in operation, the money from the loan will be used to complete some of their parts. Accolade Industrial Fund wants to contribute to the higher profitability of its portfolio with this move and secure stable financing for the next five years.
All parks are BREEAM certified and therefore meet conditions for sustainability assessment. In recent years, banks have, for example, allowed companies to obtain preferential loans if they meet ESG principles and other conditions reducing the production of carbon dioxide emissions.
Accolade Industrial Fund was established ten years ago. In its portfolio, it has 34 industrial parks in six European countries with a total area of approximately 1.9 million sqm and a value of CZK 44.6 billion (€1.77 billion). The fund began to approve a large volume of new acquisitions in Q3 2024, which would make its portfolio approximately two million square meters in size.
