Hubert Abt has over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry, spanning development, land banking, and the structuring of equity and mezzanine capital. In 2012, he founded New Work Offices, now one of the leading flex office platforms in Central & Eastern Europe. Today, New Work operates as an infrastructure platform for landlords, activating underutilised space, increasing footfall, and enhancing tenant experience through flexible workspace and service-driven concepts. In 2019, Hubert founded workcloud24 AG, a next-generation ESG and PropTech platform. Initially focused on ESG compliance and certification, the company has evolved towards operational excellence, Green Premium strategies, and CO₂ tokenisation. By combining IoT, AI-driven optimisation, and MRV frameworks, workcloud24 enables owners to convert energy savings into measurable financial value—impacting NOI, asset valuation, and financing. With offices across DACH and CEE, both platforms together redefine how buildings are operated, monetised, and positioned in a low-carbon economy.
