OKAM City, located at ul. Jagiellońska 88 in Warsaw, the former Żerań FSO car factory, has a new property manager. The owner and developer OKAM Capital instructed international real estate advisory firm Savills to provide property management for the site.
OKAM City is a 62-hectare plot with buildings offering a total of almost 425,000 sqm of leasable space and office units ranging between 20 and 1,000 sqm. The complex also offers warehouse and industrial facilities starting from 100 sqm, as well as paved yards for storing containers and premises for events, photo sessions and film sets.
“The acquisition of the former car factory was one of the largest transactions of this kind on the commercial property market in Poland. Due to the scale of the investment, we have spread our plans and preparations over many years to come. Looking for a new property manager for the complex, we prioritised professionalism and experience to ensure that the existing buildings of OKAM City in Żerań operate efficiently. We are confident that our future development at the post-industrial site in Żerań will completely transform this place,” says Anna Watkowska, Head of the Project, Member of the Management Board of OKAM City.
“OKAM City is a unique project that will forever change Warsaw’s landscape in line with the provisions of the new zoning study for the city. The planned development will incorporate brownfield sites which are conveniently located and have access to infrastructure, including train and tram services. It already offers attractive space and multifunctional infrastructure meeting the needs of various companies and organisations from a range of sectors. We are pleased that we will be able to provide property management for such an important asset in OKAM’s portfolio,” says Marta Mikołajczyk-Pyrć, Head of Retail and Mixed-Use Property Management, Savills.
